We all struggle to live a healthy life, but things are not always easy. Unfortunately, many of the products that we buy from the store are unhealthy and the list of ingredients is far from being good for our health. Organic products are quite expensive and not many people can afford to buy natural foods on a daily basis. Here are some tricks that you can apply to live organically on the cheap:
- Grow your own herbs, veggies and fruits. If you live in a flat, this might seem tricky, but you can still squeeze a few plants in front of your window. You can grow oregano, basil, tomatoes, lemons, and even peppers, and all of them will be completely organic and healthy to eat. You will, of course, save a lot of money and if you take care of them properly, you will have fresh food all year long.
- Find a local farm. You can’t go to the supermarket and start asking them details about how they grow their vegetables, but you can do this if you buy your food from a local farm. The prices are almost always much lower and you can always negotiate until you get a good deal. You can visit the farm whenever you want and make sure that your food is completely organic.
