Health problems related to the heart are found to be more common in people where the family has a history of heart diseases in case of men over the age of 40. 

The problem can be compounded if you are a bit overweight. For women, the incidence of heart disorders is more common if they have got to the age of 50. The problem is bound to be heightened if women are overweight.

Countering the problem of weight-management seems to be very important in controlling the incidence of heart disorders. The best way to control one's weight is through proper diet and nutrition. 

Regular amounts of physical exercise are as essential. Adults ought to get at least half-an-hour of physical exercises at least five days in a week. This adds up to 150 minutes of physical exercise every week. It could even be 75 minutes of vigorous exercises in a week.
